Lay out your pants on a flat surface to be sure they are flat with no bunching. With the measuring tape measure from one end of the waist to the other end of the waist, once you have done this take the measurement and multiply it by two. For example 14X2=28 inches 22 inches 23 inches 24 inches 25 inches 26 inches 27 inches 28 inches 29 inches 30 inches 40 inches 41 inches 42 inches 43 inches 44 inches 45 inches 46 inches 47 inches 48 inches 49 inches 50 inches FRONT RISE * With your pants laying flat still in place and buttoned up, measure from the crotch seam to the top edge of the front of the pants. BACK RISE * To measure the back rise, place the tape on top of the back waistband and measure across by pulling the front crotch area to get a straight back rise from end to end. THIGH * To mearure the thigh, lay the jeans and fold one leg up. Stretch and flatten the jeans, and measure straight from side to side 2" (inches down from the bottom of the crotch). TOP OF THIGH * The top thigh is usually the one measurement that is the most difficult! Here is a good way to get an identical outcome. Lay your jeans out on a flat surface. Start the measuring tape at the corner of where the back rise shows, and measure straight across to the very edge of the jeans leg. KNEE * Lay out on a flat surface. Measure 13" (inches) from the crotch seam down the inside seam of the leg, from this point, 13 inches down from the crotch seam, measure from one side of the pant leg to the other, across the width of the knee. This is the knee measurement. LEG OPENING (CUFF) * Leg opening (cuff). Lay the opening as flat and stretched as possible and measure it from side to side.
